Werner Düggelin

Werner Düggelin (7 December 1929 – 6 August 2020) was a Swiss theatre director.[1][2] He was born in Zurich and grew up in Siebnen, Switzerland. In 1987, he won the Hans-Reinhart-Ring.

Düggelin was known for her stage directions relating to The Importance of Being Earnest, Dom Juan, The Just Assassins, The Lesson and Le Bourgeois gentilhomme.

Düggelin died on 6 August 2020 in Basel, aged 90.[3]
