Wang Dongxing

Wang Dongxing (1 January 1916 – 21 August 2015[1]) was a Chinese communist politician. He was Mao Zedong's principal bodyguard during the Cultural Revolution. He served as Vice Chairman of the Communist Party of China from 1977 to 1980. He was born in Yiyang County, Jiangxi.

Wang died on 21 August 2015 in Beijing, aged 99.
