Valkyrie (Marvel Comics)

Valkyrie (also known as Brunnhilde) is a fictional superheroine from the Marvel Comics universe. She is an Asgardian, and mainly a member of the Avengers and the Defenders. She was created by Roy Thomas, Steve Englehart and Sal Buscema, and first appeared in Defenders #4 in February of 1973.

Since her debut in the comics, she has appeared in numerous media, such as in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where she is portrayed by Tessa Thompson.
