Troy Balderson

William Troy Balderson (born January 16, 1962) is an American politician. Balderson is the United States Representative for Ohio's 12th congressional district since September 7, 2018. He is a Republican. He was a member of the Ohio Senate. On July 13, 2011, he became the representative for District 20.[2]

Balderson was his party's nominee for the 12th congressional district special election, which was held on August 7, 2018.[3] He narrowly won the election by 2,000 votes.

Balderson was born in Zanesville, Ohio. He studied at Muskingum University and at Ohio State University. He served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011.
