Trenčín Region
The Trenčín Region (Slovak: Trenčiansky kraj) is one of the eight regions of Slovakia. The capital is Trenčín.

The region has 9 districts: Bánovce nad Bebravou, Ilava, Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Partizánske, Považská Bystrica, Prievidza, Púchov and Trenčín. There are 275 municipalities in the region.
The economy is based on industry. The main sights are in the region: Trenčín Castle, Beckov Castle, Bojnice Castle and Bojnice Zoo.
