Ton Koopman

Ton Koopman (born Antonius Gerhardus Michael Koopman; Dutch: [ˈkoːpmɑn]; 2 October 1944), is a Dutch conductor, organist, harpsichordist, and musicologist. He is the founder and director of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir. In 2005, he finished recording all of Johann Sebastian Bach's cantatas.[1][2] He has also recorded all of Dietrich Buxtehude's music.[3]
