Tomás de Torquemada
Tomás de Torquemada (October 14, 1420 – September 16, 1498), also written in English as Thomas of Torquemada, was a Castilian Dominican friar. He was the first Grand Inquisitor in the Spanish Inquisition. The Inquisition made thousands of Jews and Muslims leave Spain[1] and burned many of them to death.
