Thorapalli

Thorapalli is a village in Hosur taluk, Krishnagiri district of Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The village is on the banks of Ponnaiyar River. The population of the village according to 2011 census is 9849 people of 4669 males and 5180 females.[1]

This village is the birthplace of India's first Indian Governor General and Indian freedom fighter, C. Rajagopalachari.
