Thomas A. Bird
Major Thomas Arthur Bird DSO, MC (11 August 1918 – 9 August 2017) was a British soldier of the Second World War. He was awarded two Military Crosses and the Distinguished Service Order.[1][2] He later became an architect and worked in collaboration with Richard Tyler restoring country houses.
Bird died on 9 August 2017 at the age of 98.[3]
