The More the Merrier is a 1943 American World War II romantic comedy movie directed by George Stevens and starring Jean Arthur, Joel McCrea, Charles Coburn, Richard Gaines, Bruce Bennett, Donald Douglas, Frank Sully. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures and won an Academy Award and was nominated for 5 others in 1944. It was remade in 1966 as Walk Don't Run.
