The Markup

The Markup is a non-profit news startup.

The Markup was founded in 2018 to report on the effects of technology on society. Its mission is to "hold the powerful to account, raise the cost of bad behavior, and spur reforms."

The executive director of the markup is Sue Gardner. [1]
