The Duellists is a 1977 British American historical drama movie directed by first time director Ridley Scott and was based on the short story of the same name by Joseph Conrad. It stars Harvey Keitel, Keith Carradine, Albert Finney, Edward Fox, Diana Quick, Pete Postlethwaite, Tom Conti, John McEnery, Alun Armstrong, Maurice Colbourne, Gay Hamilton and was distributed by Paramount Pictures.
