The Blue Dahlia is a 1946 American crime thriller movie directed by George Marshall and starring Alan Ladd, Veronica Lake, William Bendix, Howard Da Silva, Doris Dowling, Hugh Beaumont, Tom Powers, Howard Freeman. It was distributed by Paramount Pictures and was nominated for an Academy Award in 1947.
