The American is a 2010 American thriller-drama movie that was based on the novel A Very Private Gentleman by Martin Booth.[1] The movie was directed by Anton Corbijn.[2] The movie was shot and set in Abruzzo. The movie was released on September 1, 2010 and gained a mediocre response from critics.
