Tartus
Tartus (Arabic: طرطوس / ALA-LC: Ṭarṭūs; also known as Tartous) is a city on the Mediterranean coast of Syria. It is the second largest port city in Syria (after Latakia), with 115,769 inhabitants (2004 census). It is on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
