Tarcísio Padilha
Tarcísio Meirelles Padilha (17 April 1928 – 9 September 2021) was a Brazilian philosopher. He was Chair of the Brazilian Academy of Letters from 2000 until 2001. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 1997, he was elected a member of the academy.
Padilha died on 9 September 2021 in Rio de Janeiro from COVID-19 at the age of 93.[1]
