Tahir Salahov
Tahir Salahov (Azerbaijani, in full: Tahir Teymur oğlu Salahov, Russian: Таир Теймур Салахов; 29 November 1928 – 21 May 2021) was a Soviet-Azerbaijani-born Russian painter and draughtsman. He was First Secretary of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1973 until 1992. He also was the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts from 1997 until his death.
