Sumiko Sakamoto

Sumiko Sakamoto (坂本スミ子, Sumiko Sakamoto, November 26, 1936 January 23, 2021) was a Japanese actress and singer. She was known for her roles in The Pornographers, Warm Water Under a Red Bridge, and The Ballad of Narayama.[1] She was born in Osaka, Japan.

Sakamoto died on January 23, 2021 from a cerebral infarction in Kumamoto, Japan at the age of 84.[2]
