Sultan Hashim

Sulṭān Hāshim Aḥmad Muḥammad al-Ṭāʾī (Arabic: سلطان هاشم أحمد محمد الطائي 1942 – July 19, 2020) was an Iraqi military commander. He was Minister of Defense under Saddam Hussein's regime from 1995 to 2003. He was born in Mosul, Iraq.

Ahmad Al-Tai died on July 19, 2020 from a heart attack at a prison near Nasiriyah, Iraq.[1]
