Simon Shnoll

Simon El'evich Shnol (Russian: Симон Эльевич Шноль; 21 March 1930 – 11 September 2021) was a Russian biophysicist, and a historian of science. He was a professor at Moscow State University. He was a member of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences from 1990 until his death.

Most of his works were about the oscillatory processes in biology, the theory of evolution, chronobiology, and the history of science.

Shnoll died in Moscow on 11 September 2021 at the age of 91.[1]
