Sikhism in Pakistan

Sikhism is a religion that originated in Punjab region of Pakistan, but they form a very small minority religion in the country. Sikhs all around the world have cultural, historical and political ties to the country, and to the historical region of Punjab.[1]

Today, Pakistan, a nation of over 230 million, is more than 70% Muslim, with Sikhs and Hindus making up the largest minority faiths. Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Animist, Baha'is and other sects make up the remainder of the population.
