Shanksville, Pennsylvania

Shanksville, Pennsylvania is a small borough in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. About 200 people live there. The town is 60 miles (97 kilometres) from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The area became well-known worldwide when United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field during the September 11 attacks. The town was founded in 1798.
