Salawat Gallyamov
Salawat Abdrakhmanovich Gallyamov (December 24, 1959 – September 5, 2018) was a Russian linguist and researcher. He was a supporter of the theory of the Turanian origin of the Bashkir people.

Gallyamov himself used the shape of the 'bashkord' for the name of the people. He was known for his research in the field of the epics and myths of the peoples of Eurasia and the connections and linguistic connections of the Bashkir language with some ancient and modern languages of the world.
Gallyamov died in Ufa, Russia on September 5, 2018 at the age of 59.[1]
