Sadashiv Amrapurkar

Sadashiv Amarapurkar (born Ganesh Kumar Nalawade; 11 May 1950 – 3 November 2014) was an Indian actor. He was well known for his roles in Marathi and Hindi movies in the 1980s and 90s.[1]

Awardswon Filmfare Award for Best Villain for Sadak 1991

He won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role in 1991 for Sadak — the first time the award was instituted. In addition to negative roles, he has done supporting roles and, more recently, comic roles.

Amarapurkar died in Mumbai, India from a lung infection, aged 64.[2]
