SBK Records

SBK Records is a record label started in the late 1980s. It was a sub-division of EMI Records.

Stephen Swid, Martin Bandier and Charles Koppelman formed the production company for a reported $295 million. The label had several hits with Vanilla Ice, Jon Secada, Wilson Phillips, Technotronic and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

SBK Records shut down in 1995 after the murder of Selena. SBK Records signed her for a crossover deal.
