Rosalind Elias
Rosalind Elias (March 13, 1930 – May 3, 2020) was an American mezzo-soprano. She was best known for creating the role of Erika in premiere of Samuel Barber's Vanessa in 1958 and Charmian in Antony and Cleopatra by the same composer. Elias was born in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Elias died on May 3, 2020 in New York City of congestive heart failure, aged 90.[1]
