Roma, Queensland
Roma is a town in Queensland, Australia. It is the capital of the Maranoa Region. The town was founded in 1867 and is named after Lady Diamantina Bowen (née di Roma), the wife of Sir George Bowen, the first Governor of Queensland. In the 2016 census, 6,848 people lived in Roma.[1]
