Rita Sargsyan

Rita Aleksandri Sargsyan (Armenian: Ռիտա Ալեքսանդրի Սարգսյան, née Dadayan (Դադայան), 6 March 1962 – 20 November 2020) was an Armenian socialite. She was the wife of President and Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan from 1983 until her death.[1]

From 2008 to 2018, she was the First Lady of Armenia.

Sargsyan was born to a military family in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast. She was a music teacher.[2][3]

Sargsyan died at the age of 58 from COVID-19 on 20 November 2020.[1]
