Rezső Nyers

Rezső Nyers (21 March 1923 – 22 June 2018) was a former Hungarian politician. He served as Minister of Finance of Hungary from 1960 to 1962. For a few months in 1989, he was the country's last Communist leader serving as President of the Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party.[1] Nyers died on 22 June 2018 at the age of 95 after a short illness.[2][3]
