Renée Taylor
Renée Taylor (née Renée Wexler; March 19, 1933)[1] is an American actress, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter and one-time director. She is best known for having played Fran Drescher's title character's outspoken mother, Sylvia Fine, on the TV series The Nanny.

Taylor won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1973 for her work on The Carol Burnett Show.
