Reino Paasilinna
Reino Paasilinna (5 December 1939 – 21 July 2022) was a Finnish politician who was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). He was a member of the Social Democratic Party of Finland. He was a member of the Party of European Socialdemocrats. He was on the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.
He was an MEP from 1996 to 2009.[1]
Reino Paasilinna was born on Aunus, a ship on the Arctic Ocean, on the coast of Norway.
His brother was novelist Arto Paasilinna.
Paasilinna died on 21 July 2022 in Helsinki, Finland from problems caused by Parkinson's disease, aged 81.[2]
