R. Sampanthan
Rajavarothiam Sampanthan (Tamil: இராஜவரோதயம் சம்பந்தன்; Sinhala: රාජවරෝදියම් සම්බන්දන්; born 5 February 1933) is a Sri Lankan Tamil politician and lawyer. He has been the Tamil National Alliance party leader since 2001. He has also been a Member of Parliament since 2001. He was the Leader of the Opposition from September 2015 to December 2018.[1][2]
