Quadrangular space

The quadrangular space is an area in the arm. It is between the following:

  • above: subscapularis in front, teres minor behind
  • teres major
  • long head of triceps
  • surgical neck of humerus

The axillary nerve and posterior humeral circumflex artery are in the space.
