Qatar Bahrain Causeway
The Qatar Bahrain Causeway (also called the Qatar Bahrain Friendship Bridge) is a planned causeway between the two Arab states of Qatar and Bahrain. It was announced on 13 December 2008 that construction would start in early 2009.[1] As of November 2010, construction had not started.[2] On 27 April 2011, an announcement was made that building the causeway would start in 2011 for completion in 2015.[3]
