Proclamation of Singapore

The Proclamation of Singapore is part of an agreement about the separation of Singapore from Malaysia as an independent and sovereign country dated on 7 August 1965 between the Governments of Malaysia and Singapore, and an act to change the Constitution of Malaysia and the Malaysia Act on 9 August 1965 signed by the leaders of both countries.[1][2]
