Prince Albert is the third largest city in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

The population of Prince Albert was 35,129 in 2011[1] The mayor of Prince Albert is Greg Dionne. It is nicknamed the "Gateway to the North" because it is the last major centre along the route to the resources of northern Saskatchewan. It is named after Albert, Prince Consort, husband of Queen Victoria[2]
