Presidio Modelo
Presidio Modelo (Spanish for "model prison") is an abandoned prison in Cuba. It's an example of the round, wide design of jails and was built in 1927 on the orders of president turned dictator Geraldo Machado. Fidel Castro was one famous inmate. It is in the suburban quarter of Chacón, Nueva Gerona.
