Popular Republican Union (2007)
The Popular Republican Union (French: Union Populaire Républicaine, UPR) is a French political party. It was formed in 2007 by François Asselineau.[1]

The party is nationalistic, and is very critical of the European Union.[2] They are against federalism and the Americanisation of France.
Asselineau qualified to run in the 2017 French presidential election on 23 April 2017. He received almost 1% of the national vote, with 332,588 votes.
