Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russian: Петропа́вловск-Камча́тский) is a city in Russia. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is the administrative, industrial and cultural center of Kamchatka Krai. Population: 181,181 (2019).

The city lies on the Pacific coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

It was founded by Vitus Bering in 1740 and was named after ships the St. Peter and the St. Paul.
