Peter Mathews (politician)

Peter Mathews (7 August 1951 – 28 February 2017) was an Irish politician. He was a member of Fine Gael before becoming independent in 2013. He served as Teachta Dála (TD) from February 2011 to February 2016 for the Dublin South constituency. He was born in Dublin.

Mathews died from oesophageal cancer on 28 February 2017, at the age of 65.[1]
