Peter Hurford

Peter Hurford OBE (22 November 1930 – 3 March 2019) was a British organist and composer. He was born in Minehead,[1] Somerset. He was best known for his interpretations of Bach. He worked for Decca and BBC Radio 3. Hurford was appointed organist of Holy Trinity Church, Leamington Spa from 1956 to 1957.[2]

Hurford died of complications from Alzheimer's disease on 3 March 2019, aged 88.[3]
