Patrick Michaels

Patrick J. Michaels (February 15, 1950 – July 16, 2022) was an American agricultural climatologist.[1][2][3] Michaels was a senior fellow in environmental studies at the Cato Institute until 2019. Until 2007, he was research professor of environmental sciences at the University of Virginia, where he had worked from 1980.[2][4] He was born in Berwyn, Illinois. He was a well known climate change denier.

Michaels died on July 16, 2022 in Washington, D.C. at the age of 72.[5]
