Oscar Hugh Lipscomb

Oscar Hugh Lipscomb (September 21, 1931 – July 15, 2020) was an American bishop of the Catholic Church. He was the Archbishop of Mobile, Alabama for 28 years from 1980 to 2008. He was the first Archbishop of Mobile and its eighth bishop.

Lipscomb was born in Mobile, Alabama. He died on July 15, 2020 in Mobile from COVID-19, aged 88.[1]
