Oliver Mtukudzi

Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi (22 September 1952 – 23 January 2019) was a Zimbabwean musician, businessman, philanthropist and human rights activist. He was a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Southern Africa Region. He was born in Harare.

Tuku was thought to have been Zimbabwe's most famous and internationally known cultural icon of all time.

On 23 January 2019, Mtukudzi died at the age of 66 at Avenues Clinic in Harare from complications of diabetes.[1]
