Nouadhibou
Nouadhibou (/ˈnwædiːbuː, ˈnwɑː-/; Arabic: نواذيبو, romanized: Nwādībū, Berber: Nwadibu, formerly in French: Port-Étienne) is the second-biggest city in Mauritania. It is the capital of the Dahklet Nouadhibou Region.

History
The town was first made as a small fishing port. It was owned by the Portuguese, then the Dutch, and then the French.[1]
Health
The Nouadhibou Regional Hospital was opened in 2017. It took five years to make it. It is the biggest hospital in the area.[3]
