Nikolay Maksyuta

Nikolay Kirillovich Maksyuta (Russian: Николай Кириллович Максюта), (26 May 1947 – 1 November 2020) was a Russian politician. He was the governor of Volgograd Oblast from 1997 to 2010.[1] He was born in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russia.

On 1 November 2020, Maksyuta died in a Moscow hospital from COVID-19 at the age of 73.[2]
