Nigel Evans
Nigel Martin Evans (born 10 November 1957) is a British politician. He was born in Swansea, Wales. He is the Second Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means and has been the Member of Parliament for Ribble Valley since 1992. He was a Conservative until 2013. Since then he has been an Independent. He was First Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means from 2010 to 2013.

Personal life
Evans lives in Pendleton, Lancashire.[1] He is openly gay.[2] In 2014 at Preston Crown Court, he was acquitted of nine sex crimes, including a rape.[1]
