Newsround
Newsround is a television programme for children. It talks about the news and gives information about things that are happening at the moment. It is shown on the channels BBC One, CBBC channel and the BBC World News.
The past
Newsround used to be called John Craven's Newsround before the presenter called John Craven left in 1989. Newsround started on 4 April 1972 and is still going on today.
