Narendra Modi Stadium

The Narendra Modi Stadium (formerly: Motera Cricket Stadium) is a cricket stadium inside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahmedabad, India. It is the largest stadium in the world, with a seating capacity of 220000 people.[1][2] It is owned by the Gujarat Cricket Association.[3]

The stadium was constructed in 1983 and was first renovated in 2006.[4]

On 24 February 2021, the stadium was renamed as the Narendra Modi Stadium by the Gujarat Cricket Association after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.[5]

The Stadium hosted the final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup on 19th of November.[6]
