Minoo Mumtaz

Minoo Mumtaz (born Malikunnisa Ali; 26 April 1942 – 23 October 2021) was an Indian actress and dancer. Mumtaz appeared in many Hindi movies of the 1950s and 1960s.[1] Mumtaz was born in Mumbai, India. Her career began in 1954. Her best known roles were in Kaagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam and Gazal.

Mumtaz died of cancer at a hospital in Toronto, Canada on 23 October 2021 at the age of 79.[2]
